Data Retention Policy

Files

• original uploads are deleted after 24 hours;
• results are available for download for 7 days;
• after 7 days, a job may be archived and the result file may be deleted or made unavailable;
• users should download results before expiry and keep their own copy of the source file.

Jobs and archive

After file deletion, Formatello.com may keep minimal job records: format, status, event timestamps, quote, credit debit and link to payment record.

The archive record supports refunds, accounting, error diagnostics and abuse prevention. It does not mean the result file remains available.

Email and account

Email is stored for passwordless login, job history, payment notifications and restoring access to results before retention expires.

When an account is deleted, Formatello.com deletes or anonymizes email and related user data except records needed for payment accounting, security or legal compliance.

Payments

Payment identifiers, amounts, statuses and events may be kept longer than files because they are needed for refunds, accounting, idempotent callback handling and dispute resolution.

Full card credentials are not stored by Formatello.com.

Logs

Operational logs are used for security, diagnostics and stability. They should not contain file contents, email login codes, payment secrets or signed download URLs.

When data is no longer needed for service operation, support, refunds, security or mandatory accounting, it is deleted or anonymized.
