Acceptable uploads

Formatello.com accepts video, audio and image files supported by the current conversion page: MOV, MP4, WEBM, MKV, AVI, MP3, WAV, FLAC, HEIC, JPG/JPEG, PNG and WEBP.

The active MVP API limit is 512 MB per file. Individual routes may apply stricter limits for file size, duration, resolution, codec or file type.

Before payment, the service probes the file, determines conversion parameters and shows a price quote when paid processing applies.

What you must not upload

• files that you do not have the right to use or process;
• malware, exploits, encrypted containers meant to bypass checks, or unlawful material;
• material that infringes third-party rights, exposes other people's personal data without a valid basis, or contains prohibited content;
• files designed to overload, bypass limits or disrupt the service.

Payments and credits

When a job requires payment, the price is shown after probing and before credits are charged or payment starts. Video and audio are priced by duration; images use a separate count, size or package-credit model.

Payments are processed through Robokassa. Only a signed server callback confirms payment; returning from a payment page does not unlock a job by itself.

If credits are insufficient, the job waits for payment. After confirmed payment or credit debit, the job is queued for processing.

Refunds

If a paid conversion fails because of a service error after credits have been charged, Formatello.com refunds credits automatically when possible or marks the job for manual refund handling.

Duplicate payments, payments without a created job and disputed charges are checked against server-side payment events. Money refunds are handled through the payment provider and mandatory legal requirements.

A refund may be declined if the job completed successfully, the uploaded file violated these terms, or the user missed the result availability window.

Email and notifications

Email is used for passwordless login, linking jobs to an account, sending login codes, job status updates, result links and payment notifications.

Login codes should be one-time, short-lived and rate-limited. Email is not used for marketing without separate consent.

Limitations

Conversion may change quality, file size, metadata, transparency, codec or output compatibility. Users should keep their own source-file copy.

Formatello.com is not a backup or long-term storage service. Originals and results are deleted according to the data retention policy.
